These are collaborative mural projects that I've worked on as an artist and facilitator, working and partnering with organizations with youth focused programs. These murals are all youth driven projects facilitated by a group of lead artists. The process of these projects involves youth from beginning to end and includes; brainstorming themes and concepts for the mural, creating & drawing imagery, locating mural sites and painting & executing the mural. Sometimes working with two groups of youth from different areas, these mural projects build and strengthen relationships in our communities and neighborhoods, build leadership and artistic qualities & skills in youth and address important & relevant themes in our immediate & wider community while Beautifying our surroundings.
